We have been sharing the sad new on the ongoing crisis near the border of Myanmar. Many Karen Villagers have fled to the forest for safety, Sadly you do not see crisis on the news, or even in print for the world to see the brutality the Karen people have faced now for many years. This situation has become more dangerous and even one our mahouts mother and family has fled for safety. Currently we have raised $228 US Dollars and our nonprofit Founders has matched the total raised. With the funds we have purchased canned foods, rice, bottle water salted fish and even some fresh fruit and vegetables, but much more is needed, They are in desperate need for pots to cook rice, manual can openers, clothing, hygiene products, and tarps to stay dry and protected from the sun.
