(University of Louisville: The Birds Nest, UofL Health, Bourbon with Heart, Paristown Point, Lynn Sports & Vision Training, Stretch Zone, Louisville City FC) Youth Empowerment: Nurtured the potential of young minds through educational initiatives, ensuring a brighter tomorrow by establishing and growing our largest Parkinson’s Buddy Program to a current: 25 students enrolled. City Recognition: National Parkinsons Institute was presented with a Proclamation making April 13th NPI Day and the City officially recognizing April as Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Future Unveiled: Plans and rendering were released for the largest, Parkinson’s only facility and health & research campus in the country. A state of the art Headquarters and Health Campus will make Louisville the Mecca for everything Parkinson’s Disease. NPI/Bill Collins Center Opening: Reopened the Bill Collins Resource and Support Center at Frazier Rehab providing educational programming, library resources and computer access to the local community.Red Tulip Gala: Our largest Gala to date as the first organization to have an event at Churchill Down’s brand new First Turn Club  Parkinson’s Legislation: NPI worked tirelessly with our local Congressman, Senator and The Michael J. Fox Foundation to get the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Disease passed by Congress. It has passed the House of Representatives by a 407-9 vote.Festival Growth: Year-Round Festivals and Fundraisers were highly successful. Spring Festival held at Louisville City FC practice facility soccer fields, 4th of July Cook-Out and Fall Festival Fundraiser at Joe’s Older Than Dirt raised an incredible $15,000. A huge thanks goes out to Dawn and Bill Reed and their incredible planning and execution putting together the Fall Festival for NPI.Car Raffle: Thanks to the generosity of Bill Collins Ford and the Collins Family, NPI was gifted a brand new, all-electric 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV to give away at the 2024 Red Tulip Gala. Community Unity: Witnessed an amazing surge in community engagement—thank you for being the heartbeat of our mission!  Gratitude Galore: A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, donors, and supporters. A state of the art Headquarters and Health Campus will make Louisville the Mecca for everything Parkinson’s Disease. NPI/Bill Collins Center Opening: Reopened the Bill Collins Resource and Support Center at Frazier Rehab providing educational programming, library resources and computer access to the local community.Red Tulip Gala: Our largest Gala to date as the first organization to have an event at Churchill Down’s brand new First Turn Club  Parkinson’s Legislation: NPI worked tirelessly with our local Congressman, Senator and The Michael J. Fox Foundation to get the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Disease passed by Congress. It has passed the House of Representatives by a 407-9 vote.Festival Growth: Year-Round Festivals and Fundraisers were highly successful. Spring Festival held at Louisville City FC practice facility soccer fields, 4th of July Cook-Out and Fall Festival Fundraiser at Joe’s Older Than Dirt raised an incredible $15,000. A huge thanks goes out to Dawn and Bill Reed and their incredible planning and execution putting together the Fall Festival for NPI.Car Raffle: Thanks to the generosity of Bill Collins Ford and the Collins Family, NPI was gifted a brand new, all-electric 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV to give away at the 2024 Red Tulip Gala. Community Unity: Witnessed an amazing surge in community engagement—thank you for being the heartbeat of our mission!  Gratitude Galore: A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, donors, and supporters.
