Here's why Keystone Equality is so important!  We support political action to stop the tide of hate and anti-LGBTQ legislation. Nine bills are pending in the PA legislature that would harm us, from "parental rights" that would mean any parent could end support for LGBTQ youth in schools and elsewhere, to limiting gender therapy for transgender folks.

It's no joke. 25 states already have these laws on the books.

So what is Keystone Equality going to do about it? We'll make sure voters who support our rights register and get to the polls. We'll have a full set of questions for both federal and state candidates for office. Their anwers will be posted on our website, so those voters will know how to cast their vote. We'll also work to pass LGBTQ-positive legislation that will provide for stiff hate-crime penalties, promote fairness and stop the erasure of LGBTQ people. Finally, we'll help local activists and government pass non-discrimination ordinances across the state.

These hate groups and their hate legislation cannot win if we organize and mobilize.
