Every family deserves to bring their child into the world safely. Unfortunately, maternal morbidity and mortality rates are disproportionately high in the Black community. This is a challenge we are committed to addressing at Familia First Health, but we can't do it alone. Familia First Health will be a self sustaining clinic, but we are asking for your help with start-up funds. 

Your generous donation can make a significant difference in our mission to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality rates and supporting healthy families. Here's how:

1. Establishing a Clinical Space: We are dedicated to being accessible to those who need us most. With your support we will be able to purchase land and build a clinic in a high need neighborhood. We will envision Familia First Health being a trusted neighborhood hub.  

2. Putting Clinical Medicine First: Your contribution will help us provide comprehensive prenatal, postnatal, and ongoing care for mothers and their children, with a focus on caring for patients not generating profits. This includes regular check-ups, health education, nutrition counseling and mental health support.

3. Hire and Train Staff: With your donation, we can hire staff to support our clinical providers and ensure they are trained to provide culturally sensitive, individualized care. This includes understanding the unique challenges faced by Black and Brown women during pregnancy and childbirth and tailoring our approach to meet their needs.

4. Community Outreach: Your support will enable us to extend our reach within the community. We plan to partner with local organizations to provide support beyond medical care, including social and emotional support, which is crucial for overall well-being.
