It’s no secret that women’s voices in the music industry have been historically overshadowed...NEW ROOTS EMPOWER provides artists with practical resources to develop a new generation of passionate, empowered young women.

We have found after speaking with hundreds of developing artists that getting started is the hardest part in creating a successful career in the music industry. Our 3-day intensives in Nashville, TN allow these female artists to jump start their professional career in the music industry by recording on Music Row, collaborating with an internationally recognized Producer, learning from Industry Professionals, performing in Nashville, and being their own BOSS! We create a safe space for artists to be themselves, to ask questions and to be a part of a community of likeminded creators. Our hope is that we will leave a legacy of more female leaders in the music industry, closing in the gender gap.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us to make our hands on, educational, weekend long intensives in Nashville, TN nearly or completely free for female artists! Specifically, your donation will help to provide:

• High level industry professionals to give workshops and classes
• Renting a historic studio on Music Row for the artists to gain the highest level of experience
• Housing for the artists in a beautiful home right near Music Row
• Meals for the artists
• Travel expenses for the artists
• Giving artists an opportunity to see and learn practical steps to making their dreams a reality
