No goods or services are provided in exchange for contributions to the Annual Fund. Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. 

Donations to Westchester Ballet Company directly support the organization in the 3 key ways:

1. Funding of ballet training scholarships (merit-based) and financial assistance (needs-based) for dancers (6 -18 years in age)
   
   
2. Funding to preserve and maintain production infrastructure (sets, props, costumes)
   
   
3. Underwriting the costs of its outreach programs (no-cost ballet instruction and attire to children in underserved communities)
   
   All other areas of the Company's operations are funded through ticket sales, member fees, and managed by unpaid volunteers.

ABOUT WESTCHESTER BALLET COMPANY
Ossining-based Westchester Ballet Company is one of the oldest regional nonprofit youth ballet companies in the United States. For 75 years it has played a critical role in supporting excellence in and access to the arts in our community.

Westchester Ballet Company:

• is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization made up annually of approximately 100 youth dancers from across Westchester, New York, and the surrounding region

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO ALL
Annual auditions for membership in Westchester Ballet Company are open to all dancers no matter where they receive their ballet training, as long as they are 6-18 years of age and meet the training requirements associated with the rank in which they are placed in the Company.
