Your donation will help us achieve our mission of serving roughly 1,000 youth and families in the DMV in preparation for the 2025 school year. We use your contributions to host the annual DC Wave Festival that provides youth with back-to-school supplies and families with services that promote healthy lifestyles and offer awareness of holistic support services at an all-inclusive site at Franklin Park, Washington, DC. In 2023, with your help and the partnership of Downtown BID and Coca-Cola, we distributed over 1200 filled bookbags to DMV youth returning to school.
