With the ever-rising cost of food, the City of Refuge Food Pantry continues to see an increasing number of individuals requesting food assistance.  According to Feeding America, there was an increase of 18% in food insecurity for Northwest Georgia from 2021 to 2022.

$100 = 77 meals from our Food Pantry

$150 = 115 meals from our Food Pantry

$200 = 154 meals from our Food Pantry

Like food costs, housing costs are at an all-time high. The City of Refuge Transitional Housing Program is currently able to house our clients at a reasonable rate, averaging 16 dollars a day.
