Welcome, donors of Growing Freely! 

Teens and young adults are often faced with unique health challenges that are stigmatized and shamed by our society. These include mental health concerns, sexual and reproductive issues, and gender-affirming care. Because of the sensitive nature of these issues, patients often forgo treatment altogether. Insurance companies can also notify parents of any services sought, and the self-pay costs associated with services are out of reach. 

But what can be done? 

The creators of Growing Freely are calling on the community to help fund our mission: To provide completely free healthcare for teens and young adults. No more guessing if services are covered and no more waiting on insurance to approve care. We believe access to physical and mental health care services should be free of charge. No questions asked.

At Growing Freely, we are taking healthcare back, one patient and one donation at a time. Together we can contribute to the health of our community and our future. Your donation will help achieve our mission.

Examples of what your in-kind donation may go toward: 

$5 to $10 -Transport for a patient to go to and from a clinic.

$15 - A book or similar health resource. 

$50 - A month's worth of medication. 

$100 - One mental health counseling session.

$150 - Comprehensive medical and mental health assessment with a primary care provider.

Donations of any amount go directly toward the costs of health services and help keep essential services accessible to all.
