Annie's Project

Who is Annie?

Annie Kohlhagen Fleck grew up in northern Illinois. She married a farmer and spent her lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her husband. Together, they did great things, but it wasn’t easy. Annie was the inspiration for the groundbreaking Annie’s Project founded by her daughter Ruth Fleck Hambleton in 2003.

What is Annie's Project?

We provide women in agriculture with the knowledge, networking opportunities, and resources they need to realize their full potential. Our educational programs have played a critical role in helping our clients and their families achieve success. Annie’s Project stands alone in our ability to brighten the future for farm and ranch families. With your help, we can continue this crucial endeavor with new courses, new formats, and an expanded reach nationwide.

Our Vision & Mission:

Women in agriculture are change agents who strengthen their businesses, families and communities. Here at Annie's Project we strive to empower women in agriculture to be successful through education, networks, and resources.
