As a 501(c)3, Live Gilmer runs on 100% donor and volunteer fuel. With your donations, we are able to continue the work we have started, which include:

- Annual, free community events that engage our residents and support local small businesses.

- Tornado/disaster relief funds and volunteering. 

- Supporting Education through local school district donations.
- Community impact projects that beautify our town or improve residents' experiences in town. 

Past community projects Include:

• The new mural on the southwest side of the downtown square
• Music and speakers on the square
• Partnering with CUTX to encourage permanent trash can placement on the square.

With your donations, we can not only continue the work we have started in the community, but reach our future goals, as well. 

These are:

- Tree planting on the Gilmer 271 corridor.

- New, additional downtown murals. 

- Giant flower pots to line the downtown sidewalks. 

- Welcome signs for both the downtown area and at city limits.  

- 4-year scholarship programs for Upshur county high school graduates.

- Increased programming to support local small businesses.
