What is The Ghostlight Stage Company?

The Ghostlight Stage Company is a brand new nonprofit arts organization and professional theater company in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Ghostlight Stage Company is just as the name suggests. Similarly to how a ghost light in a theater is a constant reliable source of light at all times regardless of if the theater is open or not, we hope to be that for our community of artists and our patrons alike. With a commitment of always hiring 80% of all teams for any given project to be made up of local Greater Cincinnati professional artists, we are a company for the community BY the community.

We believe in accessible, affordable art for all to enjoy, mentoring and fostering young talent, unique community-engaging art experiences and theatrical productions with inclusive storytelling ranging from reinventing old classics for the modern audience to cutting edge new works.

The Ghostlight Stage Company was created to offer a space where artists and patrons can feel celebrated, wanted, and safe. When entering our space- whether for a show, workshop, or artistic experience, patrons and artists know that they will always receive a high quality experience. To ensure our promise, we have broken our values into these categories: Equity & Anti-Racism, Accessibility, People over Profits, and Collaboration. Through these, we hope to offer thoughtful solutions to ongoing issues we as artists have seen while working in the arts industry.

What am I donating towards today?

Your contribution today goes directly towards the programming in our current season. Your donation helps with offsetting supply and labor costs, so we are able to bring these high quality arts experiences to the community for FREE and at reduced costs. We are currently working on:
