Hello,
We’re excited to be collaborating again with BossMom Builds for construction of our 4th home in Jamaica for single mothers in need! U.R.G.E. is proud to be covering the costs for construction of this project, but there’s so much to do and we need your support to help make this house a home.
We have set a goal to raise $6,000, which in turn will cover the costs of:
Self-determination is key for the people of Jamaica and the work that we are doing here is giving families and children the opportunity to decide what their futures will look like. Last year, with one of our past builds, we had the opportunity to be in Jamaica on-ground, help out with construction and finishing of the home, and see the impact these projects are making and how it’s changing the lives of families around the island.
Through this amazing collaboration with BossMom Builds and Food for the Poor JA, we are now onto our fourth home and counting. Our founders Ziggy and Orly Marley are excited to be getting back to Jamaica and being a part of this project again.
We thank you so much in advance for your support. Please know that every dollar we receive goes directly to the cause—our 501c3 foundation has no administrative fees, and all funds received beyond our goal will go towards future builds.
“We love, appreciate everything we can do for the community of Jamaica. We’re here fe support it, and help it. ‘Cause, you know, it’s a part of our culture, our history, and we want to help make Jamaica be a better place, so, we’re glad to be here.” - Ziggy Marley.
