The Creative Performing Media Arts Middle School (CPMA) has The Conrad Avenue Arts Foundation (The CAAF) help fund and support arts education, which benefits all students, grade levels 6-8, at CPMA. CPMA is a public arts-focused tuition-free magnet school with 40 teachers and 30 para educators, who serve 672 students and their families across 60+ zip codes in San Diego County.
Our purpose is to fill the gap by enhancing the educational experience through the arts. Through our efforts, we aim to enrich the school environment and inspire students to explore their artistic passions, develop essential skills, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the Arts. CPMA offers Orchestra, Band, Jazz Band, Piano & Guitar, Choir, Visual Arts, Video Production, Dance, Theatre, Technical Theatre, Creative Writing, and Multimedia & Design in addition to academic classes. It costs about $1,056 a year beyond what is provided by the district to fund academics and arts at CPMA.
Your dollars will help support:
Covid state and federal government funding has ended. Public education funds have been drastically reduced. The CAAF can provide opportunities and experiences for CPMA students as well as increased flexibility to meet the changing needs of this arts magnet school.
At The Conrad Avenue Arts Foundation, we know that change starts with people like you who appreciate and value the arts. Every dollar makes a difference in a student's life and brings us closer to helping CPMA achieve its goals.
How you can help power our mission:
Thank you for supporting our mission. Your support is invaluable.
