The purpose of the GFGC program is to improve access to quality urban agriculture education and increase food security in southwest Atlanta neighborhoods.
Our goal is to demonstrate that sustainable agriculture can play an important role in addressing urgent problems such as hunger, climate change, and water security.
This is made possible by paying youth to learn the soil science and agricultural skills necessary to design and plant “food forests” in the backyards of participating legacy residents.
Your donation will allow us to continue our mission of providing food, income, and educational opportunities to our community.
