The Foundation for Greater Opportunities in Learning (FFGOIL) is excited to announce the launch of A Day in Her Shoes Mentoring, a women’s career and wellness mentoring program designed to empower women in their professional journeys. This program pairs experienced Women in Leadership with mentees, fostering career and life skills development, with a special emphasis on supporting former foster youth and underserved communities.

Our Mission: Since 1999, FFGOIL has been dedicated to advocating for the learning needs of vulnerable youth and providing resources to help children in at-promise environments become successful learners. We are expanding our efforts to address intergenerational challenges by building mentorship programs that support women in the workforce.

About A Day in Her Shoes Mentoring:

• Focuses on individualized mentoring to support mentees in navigating career, life, and wellness goals.
• Integrates a coaching component for mentors, with training provided by certified professional coaches to ensure a transformative and evidence-based approach.
• This aligns with FFGOIL’s commitment to providing learning opportunities and resources that support the healthy development of children and families.

YOUR DONATION

As a Community Partner, your support goes to help launch this life-changing program by providing financial support. Specifically, we need funding to implement and maintain the technology required to:

• Manage mentor-mentee relationships through a secure online platform that tracks progress and supports collaboration.
• Provide mentor training modules, offering professional coaching resources and a comprehensive Mentor Handbook.
• Facilitate ongoing communication and support, ensuring mentors and mentees have the tools they need for a successful relationship.

Your support at the following levels would make a significant difference:

• $25 – Kickstart Mentor Resources: Provides one mentee with access to digital guides and tools that support their career and wellness goals.
• $50– Fund Mentor-Coach Training Sessions: Supports mentor-coaches' training, equipping them with evidence-based strategies to guide their mentees effectively.
• $100 – Support Transformative Mentorship Infrastructure: Covers essential program costs, including volunteer insurance and administrative tools that ensure a safe, seamless, and effective mentoring experience for mentor-coaches and mentee-coachees.
• $250 – Accelerate Program Innovation: Funds the development of advanced course content and enhancements to the mentoring platform, ensuring mentor-coaches and mentee-coachees have access to cutting-edge, evidence-based resources and tools.
• Other Amount –Any contribution helps us move closer to our goal.
