A little information about the Guntersville Lions Club  

• We are part of Lions Club International Organization for over 100 years serving over 200 countries. Chartered to provide:

• Vision Care: Free of charge eye exams & glasses for those in need
• Childhood Cancer Family Support: Food & gas cards for families traveling to St. Jude for cancer treatment
• Diabetes Education: Inspection mirrors for elderly diabetics, diabetic friendly snacks to elder care facilities 
• Environmental Improvement:  Maintenance of our Adopt a mile 305-306 on Hwy. 431 & outdoor classroom at Lake Guntersville State Park.

• Our club also specializes in providing for Marshall County 
  • Disaster Preparedness: Providing cots, blankets, and t-shirt's in preparation for disasters 
  • Youth Sponsorship: Sponsorship of Guntersville High & DAR Leo Clubs, Guntersville Cub Scout Pack, and Guntersville Boy Scout Troop and Scout Hut
  • Humanitarian Assistance: Toiletries and other personal items to the recovery centers, domestic violence shelter, and those in need. Indigent medication program at a few local pharmacies, and Children’s Book giveaway, dog beds and kiddy pools to local animal shelters.
