My Style Matters is a local 501c3 non-profit organization, dedicated to helping improve the lives of individuals who are disproportionately impacted by cancer through educational programs and direct support services.
Our programs are designed to support, empower, advocate and educate cancer survivors, caregivers, and the community at large about cancer and cancer risk reduction in an effort to help others have a better quality of life and reduce cancer disparities.
At My Style Matters, we...
- provide non-toxic care packages, containing everyday use personal care and household items (Valued at $150)
- deliver affordable Food 2 Fight produce boxes for 6 weeks to survivors undergoing treatment (Valued at $250)
- offer survivors an opportunity to attend our Restore H.O.P.E. wellness weekend retreat (Valued at $1250)
- provide breast cancer care navigation and lifestyle coaching (Valued at $200)
- invite survivors and their care companions to attend a 5-week interactive Plant-based cooking class (Valued at $100)
- invite survivors to attend our 12 week transformative program, HER Support, aimed a educating survivors about self advocacy, mindfulness, reducing exposures, fitness and plant-based nutrition. and equipping them with the necessary tools to take action towards healthier living. (Valued at$1500)
We also provide social support through our My Breast Years Ahead sistahood support group and our new program BLK GRL Metatribe for Black and Brown women thriving with metastatic breast cancer. Additionatlly, we educate, motivate and activate teen girls and women to take control of their breast health and more...
