At Canopy, we're working on a revolutionary shidduch website that's designed to address the needs and sensitivities of frum daters and shadchanim. We hope to revolutionize the shidduch system in a way that emphasizes Torah values and a culture of chessed.

Canopy will improve four key features of the shidduch system, by offering privacy, autonomy, and efficiency.  We'll also have measures in place to maintain a 1:1 ratio of men to women daters.  Best of all, it will be 100% free.

Our mission is to facilitate shidduchim in order to grow and strengthen the frum community.  Our vision is to develop a refined shidduch system that emphasizes a culture of chessed, protects and respects daters, and is sensitive to the needs of both daters and shadchanim.

Canopy responds to a critical צורך ציבור to make shidduchim, and to do so in a sensitive, and efficient manner. Our cause impacts a wide sector of the frum community.  Nearly every frum family has gone or will go through the shidduch system at some point.  We expect that, at this moment, at least one person in your extended family is currently looking for a shidduch. You can make a difference to that person and countless others. Your donation will go towards the development of this shidduch website.

The Gemara in Shabbos 31a lists six questions a person is asked after 120, among them: “עסקת בפריה ורביה? Did you involve yourself in procreation?"  According to the Chasam Sofer, this refers to one's involvement in making shidduchim.  We aim to answer this imperative, and we hope that you will partner with us in pursuing this great chessed.
