A good number of refugees and immigrants come to United State of America every day for several reasons and most of time because they are fleeing harm or imminent death from their original countries. After several months in United States, they find that they need more directions in navigating the system in terms of housing, education, jobs, and more services that make life easy for them. Elimu (Education) Empowerment Services identified that these individuals need more directions in preparing for their future.

This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission. We'll be able to :

• Identify and respond to their educational and employment needs and goals 
• Develop and/or enhance educational capabilities
• Provide sustainable educational social skill, career counseling services needed to accommodate with the values and norms of this new society
• Provide a minimum financial assistance for education needs
• Seek working opportunities as well as social skills needed to be productive within the community
