On Easter Sunday, April 12, 1983, A caravan of Memphis radio listeners drove a little over 99 miles to the city of Mound Bayou to celebrate rescue of the all-black Delta town from bankruptcy. The Mound Bayou Museum of African American Culture and History is working on a project to tell the story of how a community came together for Goodwill and sustainability.  Events like this are often overlooked and untold.  Help us document this momentous occasion through interviews from the key persons who are still alive to tell their experiences.  Your donation will provide resources for truth telling with re-enactments.
