In Memory of Mark Benjamin &ldquo;Ben&rdquo; Ewing II Benjamin was a woodworker who helped his parents rebuild multiple decks, finish a basement. As he got older, he learned the joys of turning wood which led to him starting his own business at 14, &ldquo;<a fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Ben&rsquo;s Pens</a>&rdquo;. He helped his mother teach cutting board classes at the Inventor Center, demonstrated how to use a laser etcher/cutter during Made in Kingsport events, and spent multiple spring breaks working with his father to build furniture for his bedroom including a loft bed.&nbsp; A donation to The Inventor Center in his memory will help continue providing a place where people can learn, create, and make something of their own &mdash; a place Ben loved being a part of.
