Join TAP-SF on a beautiful 2.7 mile hike in the redwoods! We will be going on a 2.7 moderately challenging loop trail in Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park, a hidden gem in the Oakland hills. Along the way, we will be immersed in a redwood forest- a “forest bath” experience. Please note that this hike is of MODERATE level on an unpaved path going up and down on dirt, rocks, and tree roots with 728 ft elevation gain over the course of about 2 hours. Please come prepared. If you find it fitting, friendly dogs on leashes are also welcome. Our meeting spot will be Chabot Space & Science Center, 10000 Skyline Blvd. Oakland, California 94619. Please park in the free 3-storied parking structure.
