Our goal is to raise $35,000 through crowdsourced donations on our Zeffy page. That will go a long way to helping us hit our overall goal and organizational budget for VisionC 2025.

Who We Are
Vision Cameroon (VisionC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering Cameroonian youth through basketball. By teaching life skills like teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and problem-solving, VisionC nurtures the leaders of tomorrow while inspiring a generation to envision and build a brighter future.

Our Impact
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, VisionC has made an incredible difference in the lives of hundreds of young people. In 2024, we hosted our third(!) annual Basketball Camp, second U20 Tournament, and second Coach Training Workshop. 

Here are just a few highlights of what donations helped us achieve this past summer:

Our Programs
VisionC Basketball Camp: We continue to be the largest basketball camp in Cameroon, welcoming 100 kids from all over Cameroon for four days of intensive basketball training and holistic education.  

• Basketball instruction from NBA greats: We provided instruction in core basketball skills for players, including lessons from current and former NBA players Klay Thompson, Grant Williams, and Festus Ezeli.
• Off-the-Court Education: Our campers participated in workshops covering education, technology, healthcare, and life skills to expose them to possible career paths to pursue.
• Scholarships: We provided our first round of scholarships to a handful of kids who stood out for their character and leadership potential.

Under-20 Tournament: We hosted men’s and women’s basketball tournaments for teams from across Cameroon, giving young athletes a platform to shine.Coaches Training Workshop: Our one-day coaches' clinic taught local coaches skills and strategies to support youth development year-round, not just during the camp.

Our Vision for 2025 and Beyond
This year was transformational for VisionC. We’ve built a solid foundation of volunteers and donors like you from around the world, a strong, experienced on-the-ground team, and an integral set of partners locally in Cameroon and Internationally. We know how to be scrappy and make a relatively lean operating budget go a long way. 

Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, we are setting our sights on the next wave of growth for our small but mighty organization:

• Expanding Our Reach: Hosting our fourth camp next summer to engage more youth and build on past success.

• Improving Infrastructure: Constructing and maintaining basketball courts and educational facilities for lasting community impact.

• Introducing New Programs: Adding educational opportunities, supporting employment initiatives, and fostering cultural exchange.

• Growing Our Footprint: Expanding our programs beyond the region we’ve served, impacting even more communities across Cameroon and Africa.
