For more than 60 years, Oakland Ballet has delivered dance to the people of Oakland and the greater Bay Area. Please invest in our community by making a generous gift to Oakland Ballet.

From the inspired founding by Ronn Guidi in 1965, Oakland Ballet has navigated the waves of both exhilarating and challenging social and economic times in the community. Through it all, it has continued to advance its mission to be relevant, to inspire, to educate and to be a beacon and reflection of our diverse community through its dancers and staff. It has thrilled audiences with its stunning performances and has encouraged young people to dream and dance.

Since 2010, Artistic Director Graham Lustig has uplifted the community, guided the organization through the pandemic and continued its mission with relevant, inspiring and educational programming. We are very proud to share that Mr. Lustig is a 2024 Alameda County Arts Leadership award recipient.

In a time when schools are barely able to fund arts programs, Oakland Ballet presents annual performances for more than 9,000 students every year through its Discover Dance program and has helped young students be better learners in all disciplines through its movement-based learning program, You Can Dance!.

An investment in Oakland Ballet is an investment in our community. More than a performing arts organization, it is an essential resource for children, families, educators and seekers of excellent dance performances.
