Help Send Our Pipers and Drummers to Scotland in 2025

 to compete in the World Pipe Band Championships 

Your donation will help our young musicians experience a trip of a lifetime!  In 2025, our band of 20 bagpipers and drummers will travel to Glasgow, Scotland.  While there, they will compete in World Pipe Band Championships and several local highland games; and participate in the Piping Live Festival. Perhaps just as importantly, they will have the chance to see and meet other young musicians who have grown up in a culture different from the USA.

Northwest Junior Pipe Band has been practicing and performing in Washington, British Columbia and Oregon to gain experience and skills to display on a world stage!  Their families have driven miles and miles and will be travelling with them to participate in this amazing opportunity in Scotland.  

Our fundraising will:

• Subsidize travel expenses so the trip is possible for all band families
• Shipping instruments to and from Scotland
• Pay for the musicians’ instructor’s travel, so they will be supported during competitions
• Ensure uniforms and instruments are performance-ready while traveling
• Experience Scotland’s magical culture
