Our dream | for a permanent home for HEARTism Community Center (HCC).  Your donation will create options for a future capital purchase.

A reduction in overhead and a fixed location in the community are important to delivering quality education and services for families who have children with disabilities far into the future.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED
HEARTism thrives thanks to the creativity, dedication, involvement, and generosity of many people ~ participants, families, businesses, service organizations, and foundations. It’s the collective strength of HEARTism that makes us stand out and allows us to grow.

We have experience running hands on programs to impact children of all abilities!

  • HCC became the first certified autism center in Montana in 2020.  HCC is an accredited IBCCES autism center specializing in neurodiverse support designed for each individual.

  • Specialized support is not offered elsewhere in our rural community for families who have children with special needs.

  • Two (2) certified autism specialists and more than thirty (30) certified volunteers support the community center.  HCC has built a presence in Corvallis & Hamilton to support cognitive development for families who have children and youth with disabilities in Ravalli County, MT.  Corvallis is near the middle point in the 84 mile stretch of the Bitterroot Valley.

OUR MISSION

To provide education and socialization for children and young adults of all abilities through exploration of the arts, music, dance, nutrition, social and life skills activities, while offering support and education to families and the community.

Who Benefits | HCC needs your help to continue providing art, music, dance, and specialized summer camps or other activities designed specifically for children and youth with special needs.  Social skill development, job readiness skills, and other inclusive support is provided during events and camps.

  • Fine motor skill development is one of many good outcomes from hands on art, music, and dance projects. Socialization and support for families who have a child with disabilities is important for future job training success and to live their best lives!
