Help Us Fund the 2024 Voter Guide!

In 2020,

34% of U.S. citizens,

who were eligible to vote,

did not. *

We are the League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico. Our on-going goal is to improve voting rates here in the central New Mexico counties of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia. This year, more than ever, we need your help!

The League is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) whose mission is to educate voters about candidates and issues because citizens who have clear, unbiased information -- information they can trust -- are more likely to vote.

For over 75 years, before every election, volunteers with our non-partisan (unaffiliated with any candidate or political party) organization send questionnaires to all candidates, asking them to state, in their own words, what they believe in, and what policies they would promote if elected.

When the questionnaires are returned, our volunteers transfer the information received to our Voter Guide, and get it out to the voters.

This year, for the November 2024 election, we anticipate that printing the Voter Guide will cost $25,000, a significant increase over previous years. We know that many voters depend on seeing this information in print. We already have a $6,000 grant from the Albuquerque Community Foundation, so we are writing to ask you for help with the remaining $19,000.

Please help us provide voters with reliable, usable information so they can vote thoughtfully, responsibly and confidently!

Thank you in advance for your support!!!
