Commander's Challenge: If we reach our $10,000 goal, I’ll shave my nine-year-old beard!
Our Mission
As the proud Commander of the Las Vegas VFW Post 12198, I, Luke Bialczak, am embarking on my final mission before I pass the torch: to raise $10,000 in a year-long campaign dedicated to the future and ongoing support of our veterans. This campaign isn't just about meeting a financial goal; it's about cementing the legacy of support and camaraderie that defines our Post.
Why Donate?
Your generous donation will directly fund:
- Scholarship Opportunities: Empowering veterans and their families through education.
- Certifying Veteran Service Officers (VSOs): Ensuring veterans receive the benefits they've earned.
- Emergency Assistance: Covering medical bills, utilities, and rent for veterans in tough times.
- Community Engagement: From social events to volunteer opportunities, helping veterans stay connected and active in the community.
- VFW Auxiliary Growth: Strengthening the backbone of our support network, expanding services and outreach.
The Commander’s Challenge
I’ve been growing my beard for nearly a decade, and it’s become a well-known symbol of my commitment. As a fun twist to our serious mission, I pledge to shave it off in a public event if we reach our $10,000 goal. Imagine that! Every dollar brings us closer to a smoother face and a stronger community.
How to Help
1. Donate: Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
2. Share: Help us spread the word on social media, in emails, and in person. The more people know, the bigger impact we can make.
3. Engage: Join us at our events, or volunteer to help out. We’re better together.
Together, We Can
Your support not only honors the service of our veterans but also fuels the future of the VFW Post 12198 as a pillar in the Las Vegas community. Help us reach our goal and witness a monumental moment—my beard-shaving ceremony as a symbol of our collective commitment!
