Yes, I'm once again rattling my tin cup on behalf of my favorite animal shelter.  Can I bring in a bunch of little bucks that add up to big bucks to benefit the furry ones currently awaiting their forever homes (as well as help those who will come through the doors in coming months)?  Each of you can be part of the success story!

Woofstock: Walk for the Animals is Homeward Bound's premiere fundraising event. It consists of a leisurely 1 mile walk around Middlebury followed by music, refreshments, and the ever popular doggie dip in the town pool!  We bring together animal lovers from all over Addison County and beyond, raise important funds, and have a lot of fun!  Every dollar raised goes directly to care for the homeless animals of our region and those being served through our community programs. 

If you're in the area around 11am on Sept 7, watch for the walkers & their pets -- it's a wonderful sight.
