We are in the midst of a very important juncture in our Chicago Filipino American community history as we reclaim and rebuild our beloved Rizal Center. Like the proverbial phoenix, the Center shall rise after 5 years of neglect through our Bayanihan (townspeople working together)  spirit and collective will to transform it into a truly welcoming and inclusive community center, our home away from home. The Filipino American Council of Greater Chicago (EIN# 36-6124469), the corporate owner of Rizal Center, is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the federal tax code, and as you received no goods or services in exchange for this contribution, your donation may be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
