Everyday at the Willie Mae Stokes Community Center, we witness the power of community in action. Since our founding in 2017 we have grown from a vision to address the needs of Micanopy’s youth and families into a vibrant hub that transforms lives across our community.

The numbers tell a powerful story: every day we serve over 75 Young People through our Celebrating Success After-School program providing them with not just supervision but opportunity, each of our program participants obtained level gains in both math and reading. Our impact reaches far beyond our walls.

We’ve provided 70 children with laptops closing the digital divide.

Each year we provide our families with turkeys for Thanksgiving.

Each year We provide 100 students with fully stocked backpacks for School 

Through our health care initiative We bring weekly health care directly to our Micanopy residents.
