In the Spring of 2023, three playgrounds in Horicon were removed due to safety concerns. One of those was Bowling Green Park. To help bridge the gap in city funding, the Horicon Phoenix Program established the Friends of Horicon Parks under their wings. We are actively applying for grants and have received one already. We need help from our community members to cross the finish line.  Every donation over $100 will have their name engraved on a donation sign that will be installed in the park.
