Millions of people are displaced from their homes each year due to all kinds of natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes, floods, and so on.

I hear about these disasters in the news such as the fires in Maui and find myself pondering,  Where would I go? How would I get food, shelter, and safety for myself and my family? How would I take care of my children’s needs such as comfort, food, or education? 

This is where Serena House comes to the Rescue! 

Serena House is a safe haven, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people who have been displaced from their homes for one reason or another. 

Those who are in dire need can find refuge in Serena House. They will be welcomed, loved, nurtured, and safe. There is even a lovely playroom with toys and books for the children. Serena House is a place to be sheltered from the storm where people can come and stay for a short time even just to rest and recuperate until they are recovered enough to move on. 

Guests of Serena House will have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and will be fed, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically, while having the opportunity to learn skills that will help them provide for themselves when they move on.

Serena House is now in need of our rescue. 

The owner of the Serena House property is now ready to sell, however, due to his immediate need for funds we have a very short deadline.

Please help us rescue Serena House so she in turn can continue to come to the rescue of countless people in all kinds of circumstances. All needs have been considered, as the steward of Serena House has been dedicated to preparing and building up this property and providing this relief for guests for over 5 years. 

We must act quickly to secure her.

 Our goal is to raise $497,000 to purchase the home and secure her mission, so she will be able to continue blessing people for years to come.

I, Crystal Cecie, have personally had the privilege of getting to know the steward of this mission; Renee Mysliwiec, over the last several years. She is an incredible woman. She has a huge heart and a passion for helping people. My life has been tremendously blessed by paying for her services as a life mentor. Guests of Serena House will certainly benefit from all of Renee’s mentoring experience. 

I have also attended classes she has taught.  I stayed a few days at Serena House for a women's training/retreat, and in addition, received a renewal and healing to my soul. I found a safe Haven here and in the steward's heart, this is why I know she will fulfill her mission to make this a safe Haven for everyone who is a guest here.

Within the walls of Serena House love is in the air. There is something special and different about the home. The moment I walked in I felt loved and welcomed. There is such a calm, and peaceful atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Every Man shall give as he is able,

By making a donation, You will help secure the $497,000 dollars; $300,000 needed to purchase this home and $197,000 to forward her beautiful mission. You will be the beneficiary of countless guests who need the refuge that Serena House will provide for them.

As stated previously we have a short window of opportunity to save Serena House.

            I am so inspired and passionate about this project, and I hope you are also inspired to donate to this cause.

I believe in miracles. When people come together in the spirit of helping others miracles can happen. 

That is what we need now, please be part of the miracle that will, in turn, allow Serena House to continue to be a miracle for countless others. Every donation no matter what the size is helpful. Even one dollar may seem like a drop in the bucket but I can assure you every drop counts. So please contribute what you can.

Consider this, if you are willing to go without a bag of chips or a soda, that amount could make the difference between someone having to sleep out in the cold or within Serena House's safe warmth.

If you are able to think bigger please do.  Any money beyond our goal will go to the property for things such as more beds & bedding, finishing the downstairs, gathering beekeeping supplies, building a garage, a brick patio, a greenhouse, chicken coop, & cold cellar.
