Esther Chiprut Leadership Scholarship Program

$5,830.00

of

$10,000.00

The Esther Chiprut Leadership Scholarship program awards scholarships to campers attending Sephardic Adventure Camp’s Counselor-In-Training program, where they will learn valuable leadership skills.

This scholarship is in memory of Esther, who first attended SAC (before it was called SAC!) in 1954.  Although that early version of SAC only lasted for three days and was located on Vashon Island, it made a great impression on Esther. Esther made lifelong friends at SAC, loved campfires, singing “Ya Comimos” after meals, hula hoop contests, and horseback riding.

Today, Sephardic Adventure Camp is 20 days long and held in Cle Elum, WA, 75 minutes east of Seattle, and attracts approximately 150 campers and staff from all over the world, including Spain, South Africa, Israel, Turkey, Canada, and across the US.

We invite you to help us fund this important scholarship program in Esther’s memory.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 for 2025, and so far, we have raised over half.

Thank you for your help in ensuring that kids have the same special camp experience Esther had.
