Do you have a student performing in the 2024-2025 Production Season?
This campaign page is designed to raise $9,000 to 1) nourish students and 2) fund faculty supervision between the hours after school dismissal (2:36 pm) and call time (4:00 pm) on dates when there are 2024-2025 Production Season performances. The school, Creative Performing Media Arts Middle School (CPMA), does not receive additional monies to cover this expense. The projected cost to fill the gap of 1.5 hours for 28 performances and as many as 100 students for each performance totals $9,000 for the entire 2024-2025 Production Season.
Facts:
* Majority of students ride District bus transportation to and from school.
* On dates when students perform after school, as many as 100 students (cast and crew) remain on site until call time. Few students have the option to return home and come back to school to report at call time to prepare and perform.
* This creates a 1.5-hour gap after school when students need to be fed and supervised before their call time to prepare for their eventual performance at 6:00 pm.
To help fill the gap, tax-deductible donations are being accepted to cover the cost and fund supper and faculty supervision for students. The school, CPMA, does not receive any additional monies to cover this expense.
Share this page with family and friends. Encourage them to see a performance at the CPMA Performing Arts Center (PAC) to support your budding artists of tomorrow and witness the difference being made in students' lives.
