Join us for Footsteps for Healing: Building Community Safety Together, an awareness walk organized by Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse, in partnership with Goodwill of Southern Arizona, Tucson Juneteenth Festival, Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault and Indivisible Tohono.
This event is inspired by the ecological model, a framework for understanding the multifaceted impact of violence and the importance of community in building safety and healing. We aim to raise awareness for survivors of violence and to provide activities that foster deeper relationships and connections through intentional interactions. For example, Goodwill will facilitate healing circles.
