The Operation: Hero Challenge is an event created with a goal of raising money to support our PGA HOPE programs in Michigan and foster new locations as we continue expanding our effort of growing the game of golf and serving our Veteran population. Two PGA HOPE Graduates will team up to compete in a 2-man best ball scramble along with a skills competition during the round that features the three fundamental skills utilized in golf: driving, chipping, and putting.
“A chance to get out and enjoy the game with some like minded individuals, a lot of whom deal with a lot of the same struggles that I have.”
-Jim Bronnekant
PGA HOPE Graduate, Grand Haven
“What PGA HOPE means to me is Community. A group of Veterans coming together to participate in a common love for golf, share stories and being part of a supporting community that understands the unique challenges we have faced together.”
