Non-Violence and Compassion is integral part of Jain Religion.  We follow this principle at Jain Center of Northern California. It motivates to help our society and our fellow communities.

The Jain Center of Northern California - JCNC Temple  celebrates Ahimsa (Non-Violence) Meals & Winter Solstice drive on 5th October 2024,  This drive distributes winter stuff such as Blankets and serves 600+ hot homemade lunches to unhoused people in Silicon Valley 

AHIMSA MEALS & WINTER SOLSTICE DRIVE IS TO DELIVER THOUSANDS OF MEALS to needy and hungry. Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday is getting celebrated on 2nd October. World is celebrating his birthday to remember his work and deeds by Non-Violence way. United Nations declared 2nd October as Non-Violence Day. Gandhi Ji's knowledge and deeds were influenced by Jain principles and thoughts. In the same week, JCNC is going to celebrate NON VIOLENCE DAY on 5th October 2024. 

This event is being organized in coordination with Interreligious council & other homeless organizations in Silicon Valley.
