The CAC Baseball Showcase Welcome Dinner is an evening gathering to kickoff the weekend celebrating our Catholic Faith and Opening Day of Ohio High School baseball.
The mission of this CAC High School Baseball Showcase is to bring Christ to our high school baseball players and help them to spread the Gospel of Christ through athletics. The goal is to give them real life examples of athletes and athletic opportunities that help them put their faith into action through baseball, while also competing at a high level.
This Welcome Dinner will share the importance of our faith in sports, will share why the mission of Catholic Athletes for Christ can change lives through our Catholic faith, and will feature our 2025 keynote speaker, Fr. Joe Krupp, who is a former chaplain for Michigan State University working with Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio and their basketball and football programs. Fr. Joe is presently the Pastor for Holy Family Parish in Grand Blanc, MI.
During the evening we will also honor the eight participating teams in the event, share stories, pray together, and enjoy the fellowship with each other before kicking off the 2025 season with four exciting games during the weekend.
