NYC’s soundscape is full — the whiz of traffic passing by — honking at each other when they don’t get going fast enough, music blasted from the amps of skilled subway acrobats, emergency vehicles summoned at all times of day, neighbors who play house concerts on the saxophone and piano, fireworks on July 4th… and a random Tuesday, weekday barbecues on sidewalks… the decibels let you know, you are surrounded by  thousands of people. You can not be alone if you tried. And yet, while surrounded with people, one feels… lonely often with only our own thoughts to keep us company. What a paradox. In those quiet moments within ourselves, see what emerges…  On this random Sunday afternoon, these musicians and dancers will share with you what thoughts come to them in these moments of quiet.  Featuring Sri Thina Subramanian, Aparna Shankar, Jeevika Bhat, Tanusree Sreedharan, Juhi Desai, Samyukta Ranganathan, Vignesh Ravichandran, Visweshwar Nagarajan, Kelly Green and Luca Rosenfeld.

IMPORTANT NOTES: SEATING: Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing you to select your preferred seats upon arrival. We recommend arriving early to choose your seats. CHECK-IN: Upon arrival, head to STUDIO H upstairs. The Ticket/Check-In Desk is conveniently located just outside STUDIO H. Upon check-in, you will receive a wristband for easy entry and exit. Doors open at 1:45 pm. DIRECTIONS: GIBNEY | 280 Broadway. Please note that the entrance is on the corner at 53A Chambers Street. TRANSPORTATION: Nearby subway stations include Park Place (1 min walk), Chambers St. (2 mins walk), Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall (3 mins walk), and City Hall (4 mins walk).
