Interviewing Skills Workshop: Ace Your Next Interview!

Event closed

Nervous about upcoming interviews? Looking to brush up on your interviewing skills? Due to popular demand, we are bringing back our interviewing skills workshop to help you ace your next interview!

The workshop will be led by board member Ada Wanan HR leader at Google whose expertise derives from her experience as a hiring manager, cross-functional interviewer, and candidate. She leads our professional development function and has prior recruiting experience in the venture philanthropy and nonprofit spaces. Topics include the following:

  • How to prepare for an interview
  • Common interview questions
  • Framework for answering interview questions
  • Common interview pitfalls
  • Interview etiquette

You'll also have a chance to network and share best practices with other jobseekers at the beautiful Google Community Space in SF. Because capacity is limited, we're asking for a nominal fee to confirm your commitment* and ensure that we don't unnecessarily deny spots to waitlist members.

*Google's security team also requires a guest list in advance. Out of respect for other participants--and to respect the privilege of using Google's space--here's the cancellation policy:

  • Let us know asap so that we can open up the spot for someone on the waitlist.
  • We cannot guarantee refunds for cancellation requests made after June 18. If you cancel after that date, your ticket will be considered a donation to TAP-SF and/or the workshop owner.

Ticket sales will close at 11:59 p.m. PST on June 24.  Questions? Email pd@tap-sf.org.
