Beta Bust: A Midwest Women's Climbing Gathering was born from a lunch at the Access Fund Midwest Summit in 2019 as a way for more women climbers in the area to network and build partnerships. The plans for 2025 are now ready and it will be held September 26- September 28 at Devil's Lake, WI. Camping will be nearby at Skillet Creek Campground -- our group would be placed together. Camping is included in your event registration.

Climbing is available at Devil's Lake (trad, top rope, bouldering), Hillbilly Hollow (trad, sport, scramble for top rope on a few) (45 minutes North), or Necedah (trad and sport, R-rated scramble to top rope on a few) (45-60 minutes Northwest).

We will also partner with Devil's Lake Climbing Guides (DLCG) to offer guided top rope climbing just for our group! Click this link to register: https://www.devilslakeclimbingguides.com/store/p/beta-bust/open-group-2025. 

These will be a separate fee from the event and you will pay DLCG directly. This tour is strongly encouraged if you are coming alone, do not have outdoor climbing experience, or do not set your own anchors. Visit our website to learn more about the clinics and sign up.
