Thee Quest For BlackJoy: Volume 2 (a loosely scripted cabaret show)

Experience BlackJoy In The City, a captivating gallery and supper club event curated by multi-talented entrepreneur C.Joi Sanchez. Inspired by her ongoing art installation project, The BlackJoy Possibilitree, Sanchez invites participants to contribute to this evolving art installation, symbolizing the cultivation of a world that cherishes BlackJoy and personhood. Through loosely scripted cabaret performances, Sanchez seamlessly merges visual art, performance, and community engagement.

From June 14-16 and June 20-22, immerse yourself in this inclusive and joyful space, intentionally spotlighting Black artists. Gallery hours run from 4-6:30pm, followed by dynamic variety shows at 7pm, showcasing exceptional talent often overlooked. Indulge in delectable cuisine crafted by local culinary experts each night.

Join us for a special all-day event on June 21st, celebrating the solstice with MMNY 2024 guests and featuring New York-based artists. Whether stopping by the gallery or attending an evening performance, BlackJoy In The City promises an unforgettable experience of art, community, and celebration.

Gallery Hours: 4pm-6:30pm. (no ticket required, free & open to public)

Dinner show seating starts at 6:30pm for 7pm showtime (paid ticket required)
