For two decades, Oficina da Capoeira (OdC) has brought the rich traditions of Afro-Brazilian culture to Baltimore, creating a vibrant community of practitioners and enthusiasts. This May, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary with a special event on May 31st, and we need your support to make it unforgettable!
The event will feature:
  • Batizado and Troca de Cordas: A milestone ceremony for our students at the National Academy Foundation (NAF) Middle and High School and for our adult capoeira practitioners.
  • Afro-Brazilian Performances: Samba, Maculele, and Coco
This event is more than just a celebration—it's a chance to inspire and strengthen our community. By blending cultural education with artistic expression, we aim to empower students and participants, bridging cultures through the art of capoeira.
