Support the MES PTA by becoming a member today!  The MES PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) is a membership-based advocacy association. The MES PTA builds community between schools and families. Join and have your say!We need your ideas and support to foster our community’s relationships with each other, our students, and our school staff!  Being a member of the MES PTA gives you a voice, and donating in whatever way works for you is vital to our mission. Magnolia Elementary School PTA members are also members of the WA State & National PTA's which include benefits such as <a href="https://www.wastatepta.org/get-involved/member-discounts/" style="color:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">discounts</a> at local/statewide merchants!     WHAT does MES PTA do?<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We organize community building events to help students and caregivers get to know each other and feel welcome at the school. </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We provide funding for curriculum, supplies, and teacher training.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We administer the after-school program, including scholarships for families who need them, to provide additional opportunities for our kids to learn and grow. </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We organize volunteers to assist in various capacities at the school, including helping in the classrooms and lunchroom, on the playground, and for various events like Staff Appreciation Week.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We provide assistance to families in need in our school community, including food support during school breaks and other help as identified by school leaders.  </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">And much more!</li></ul>
