For over two decades, APALA has presented the Asian Pacific American Award for Literature. This nationally recognized award honors individual works about Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders and their experiences and cultures, based on literary and artistic merit.

Awards ceremony and banquet will be hosted at the San Diego Central Library Shiley Special Events Suite: 330 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.
