3Girls Theatre’s New Works Festival is a celebratory culmination of new plays by women+ playwrights whose work has been in development through 3GT’s Reading Series. In honor of 3GT’s partnership with KALW, the 2025 NWF theme is Seen and Heard, and will feature the work of SF Bay Area artists collaborating on multiple projects by 3GT playwrights.

The purchase of tickets will allow us to fairly compensate our talented playwrights, artists and collaborators and increase visibility of these impactful works for further production beyond 3GT. Your support amplifies our efforts for these plays to be Seen and Heard in 2025!

3GT is offering sliding scale tickets to our New Works Festival. We recognize that your enthusiasm for 3GT's work may not match your ability to give. Please use this self assessment from AORTA (https://aorta.coop/public-program-rates) to help you determine which ticketing price level to select:

- Are you and your family homeowners and/or landowners?

- Have you or do you expect to inherit money or property?

- Do you have no debt and/or disposable income?

- Have you not had difficulty accessing or affording healthcare or health insurance for you or your family?

- Do you have a safety net comprised of financially stable or wealthy friends or family?

Determining your rate

Based on your answers to the self-assessment, here are the suggested rates.

If you answered almost all no -------> 3GT Community ($15)

If you answered more no than yes ------> 3GT Admirer ($25)

If you answered more yes than no ------> 3GT Supporter ($50)

If you answered almost all yes -------> Real Cost Ticket ($100)

3Girls Theatre develops, promotes, and presents new plays by emerging SF Bay Area women+ playwrights over 40 years of age. Founded in 2011 to challenge gender bias within theater, we provide dedicated support to a cohort that is multiracial, multigenerational, and includes cis and trans women, gender non-conforming artists, and trans men.

3GT provides an artistic home for SF Bay Area women+ playwrights at all stages of their creative and professional process. Our community, programming, and artist services provide playwrights with everything they need to develop and produce their scripts.
