It was just a few years ago on June 17, 2021— Juneteenth was proclaimed a Federal Holiday.

Juneteenth has long been a day symbolic of hope, perseverance, and possibilities commemorating the date that all men of color were notified of their legal freedom. In Honor of Juneteenth, the Band of Brothers Augusta is proud to present the Juneteenth Augusta Scholarship and the Young Entrepreneur Grant.

The Juneteenth Augusta Scholarship was designed to support students who support the Juneteenth Holiday as vehemently as we do, reside in the community we serve (The CSRA area), and have decided to pursue higher education through Technical Schools, College, or the University systems.

The Young Entrepreneur Grant was designed to foster innovation, empower aspiring entrepreneurs, and support the growth of young businesses within the community. This program recognizes the importance of nurturing the next generation of business leaders and aims to provide financial assistance to young entrepreneurs seeking to turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

The Band of Brothers Augusta will award a scholarship to a student pursuing higher education starting or resuming in the fall of 2025.

Available to: High School Seniors Representing African American Ancestry with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The Band of Brothers Augusta will award a grant to a student with a business proposal demonstrating innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.

Available to: High School Seniors Representing African American Ancestry with a minimum 2.8 GPA.
