40 years ago on this date The Sullivans won their most recent of four National Championships. Special reunion with banner unveiling. Any and all ballplayers who played at the field are welcome!! (in addition to the general public) Wear your old hat and/or jersey if you have it. The Grand Rapids Police will take on The Grand Rapids Fire in a friendly match at West Catholic High School (since Sullivan Field is under repair) at 11am.After the game, head over to Sullivan Field for the banner raising - some fun wiffleball - and stories and libations!
